👉 I love playing black mage. It's a real blast!
👉 When it comes to playing black mage, I have a real "Flare" for it!
👉 Pictomancers paint by numbers. Just make sure your number isn't up.
👉 It's interesting how pictomancers do what they do so seemingly naturally. It just comes "easel"-y for them.
👉 It's wise to hear what a pictomancer has to say. They always see the big picture.
👉 As a DPS job, I do as much damage as possible! That's how I "role".
👉 I played a prank on a diminutive character some time ago. The "lalafell" for it.
👉 There are times when Alphinaud is quite exceptional at his job! That's when he actually gives such "sage" advice.
👉 I once met a red mage who was also a carpenter. They specialized in "fencing".
👉 "Summoner"? Why? I don't even know her.
👉 Having a cat for a white mage is the ultimate "coeurl" all.

I grew up in Shirogane, adopted by a then middle-aged eternally bonded couple. He was a hyur, she was a viera. He was an Ala Mhigan engineer and inventor (marginally successful; you should have seen our basement!), she was an Gridanian archer/bard turned homemaker (I still remember her soothing, dulcet voice singing my lullabies at bedtime). I never knew my birth parents; I was only a baby when my adoption occurred.

Going to the city was always a treat! By 'the city', I mean Kugane. Such a lively and bustling place, and everyone is always so friendly and polite! Anyway, I remember seeing an adventurer's exhibition all the way from Eorzea when I was an adolescent. So much talent! So much talent from all the job guilds were incredible, but my favorites were the mages. Black mages, white mages, red mages, blue mages... even summoners doing magnificent tricks with their called avatars! But I was most impressed with the black mages, the thaumaturges of Ul'dah. Something about that destructive power and how it can be used to save lives (sounds paradoxical, I know)!

After a long discussion with my parents, I set out for Ul'dah. I joined the thaumaturges. I began my study of magic. Eventually, with study and adventuring, I became a black mage! And... eventually, I joined the scions and became a Warrior of Light! Pretty incredible, right? I almost got in trouble at the thaumaturge guild for nearly blowing up one of the training areas; I let a Fire II spell get away from me, but at least it was fun!

Time passed. I fought, traveled, helped people, leveraged chaos... and I wrote home often. I let my parents know I was coming back to Kugane during its time of strife. When I arrived, as I was on my way to visit them, a messenger met me at the pier. He told me my parents passed away; the house burned down, and the disaster consumed them! I rushed to my childhood home, its remanence not yet cleared! I sat there on the lot. I cried for what felt like an eternity. I eventually composed myself enough to sift through what was left, then walked away.

I continue to travel, help people, and be my own agent of entropy and chaos. My talents are always needed somewhere. But, I also take time to meditate regularly, and approach spell slinging in a zen manner... be in the present, focusing only on the cast at hand.

And as I've taken up teaching magic with this method, I'm open to all who wish to learn and grow in this way. A way that proves effective in focus without the burdens of stress, and concentration without the hindrance of panic.

Role Play Information

Consent
I will not engage in role play that is not consensual or participate in non-consensual behavior. This includes abuse, rape, and other forced upon actions explicitly meant to cause harm or suffering.

Erotic Role Play (ERP)
I will not engage in sexually explicit or erotic role play with Taizen. While an adult, the child-like form and appearance of lalafell characters lends themselves too closely to pedophilic imagery. In terms of role play in the game's environment, Taizen is aromantic and asexual (aro-ace), so he has no in-character reason to participate in any such activities.

Chronic Medical Condition and Disability
I ask for patience as I suffer from medical issues that may prevent me from role playing as much as either of us would like. I appreciate your understanding in advance.

IC/OOC Disclaimer
While there is a certain small level of myself in my character, I am not my character. I, personally, may not necessarily share the same views as my character as their experiences are different, and the character is part of a game with its own world, full of its own environments, societies, politics, socioeconomic structures and systems, and all the philosophies that go with them. As such, I keep in-character and out-of-character as separate as possible.

At the end of the day, this is a game. Role playing is an activity in the game that is supposed to be fun. Let's respect one another and do our best to enjoy the time we have playing together.

I Don't Charge for GPoses

I do a lot of gposing, but I do it for my own amusement and enjoyment, as well as the amusement and enjoyment of others. This includes solo and collaborative works.

That said, I can always use the gil. So, if you feel so compelled, you can give me the amount of gil you feel is fair. I don't require payment.

I do, however, ask only a few things when I gpose with your character(s)...

2️⃣ That you are honest with your feedback.
